Behavioral Finance: Which is it Rational & Efficient or Irrational and Inefficient?"
Due to the current pandemic with COVID 19, we will be unable to have our presentation in person but still want to connect with our members via Zoom. Our presenter, Kit Mac Nee has updated her presentation and will be discussing Behavioral Finance (the study of how we make decisions and what we are influenced by) It is a relevant topic as we navigate through this time. She will discuss the foundations of behavioral finance from the work of Tversky, Kehneman and Thaler, explain heuristics and biases and the impact on finance and decision making with lessons for practitioners.
Kit is a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Pasadena, CA. Kit is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management, earned the Certified Specialist in Planned Giving ® from California State University Long Beach, American Institute of Philanthropy in 2001, became a Certified Financial Planner™ and Accredited Estate Planner® in 2013.
